Hello, this is all about idioms and proverbs, and it has nothing to do with i don't know news, different kinda discussion ans anything like that. if some people show interest we can go through with that together and make good in this aspect of English Language. besides, the conversation in English is more dependent on idioms rather than words, so i think it will be really helpful to learn and review them together. i hope somebody i around and doesn't let the subject die out, waiting for your comments to turn over a new leaf in learning English, be happy

so here we go, episode 1:
lets read the story first
I woke up at 6:00 in morning, but I didn’t feel like Stepping out, so I got up from bed around 7:00, I dressed up, and got in my new car and drove toward my office. It cleared up outside, and I was looking around while I was driving and here, something came about, bang, all of a sudden I ran into a huge tree.
let's study the idioms:
1)
To feel like: to have the desire to, to want to consider (To feel like + ing form ) E.g. I don’t feel like eating now, I’m not hungry
(2
To step out = to go out: to leave home or work
E.g. I want to go out of the apartment to buy some food
(3
To get up = to stand up: to rise from a lying or sitting position
E.g. when the teacher came, everybody stood up
(4
To dress up: to wear formal clothes
E.g. it is necessary to dress up to go to afternoon meeting
(5
To get in: to enter the cars
E.g. he stopped beside me and opened front door and told me just get in, we have to go together
(6
To clear up: to become sunny
E.g. what do you think about tomorrow? Do think that it will clear up or not?
(7
To come about: to happen
E.g. a quake came about yesterday, did you feel that?
(8
All of a sudden = all at once: suddenly
E.g. I was waiting for him but all at once he told me I decided not to go out with you.
(9
To run into = to bump into: to crash or collide
E.g. Did you hear about him, he ran in to a telephone pole while he was driving.

i think a subject can be chosen and be disscused by others. Any mistakes in words ,their usage and geramers can be noticed by members. here is not only for who knows english perfectly...here is for all.even for who know only one word.
